The Summer School for Young Researchers is a two-week intensive educational program that combines theory and practice, offering young scientists the opportunity to develop their research skills and networks in a friendly and stimulating environment.
Dates and Location: The Summer School will be held in Prague, from September 30th to October 13th, 2024.
Topics and Workshops: The daily program of this two-week summer school will include a variety of workshops, lectures, and practical exercises focused on key topics in scientific research. Topics will include:
- Research Methodologies: In-depth workshops on advanced research techniques and methodologies.
- Analytical Tools: Training on the latest analytical tools to support data-driven research.
- Scientific Writing and Publication: Guidance on how to effectively communicate research findings and navigate the publication process.
- Grant Writing Marathon: A unique opportunity to collaborate with peers in developing a high-quality project proposal for submission as a European research project.
Interactive Sessions and Mentorship: Participants will engage in daily interactive discussions, where they can present their research ideas, receive feedback, and discuss challenges with fellow researchers. Each participant will also be paired with an experienced mentor who will provide personalized advice and support throughout the program.
Social and Networking Activities: In addition to the academic program, the Summer School will include various social activities such as cultural excursions, social evenings, and networking events, designed to foster connections among participants and create lasting professional relationships.
Participation in summer school is free of charge, and the organisational costs partially supported by CZU.
