Assessment of socio-economic effect of the ecosystem services among artificial forest stands in the Steppe zone of Ukraine
Objectives of the project
The activities of forestry enterprises will be assessed according to the Helsinki criteria of sustainable development.
To assess the economic effect of the ecosystem functions artificial forest stands based on the calculation of bio-productivity and energy potential.
To determine priority strategic directions of forest ecosystems in the Steppe zone according to the sustainable development principles.
To develop a system of recommendations to authorized state bodies for making management decisions on effective use of artificial forest stands based on the results obtained for calculating the cost of their ecosystem services.
