This opportunity is designed to support collaborative research projects that address critical environmental and societal challenges.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Important Dates:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>14th August<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 Call for proposals opens<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>30st September<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 Deadline for applications<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>7th October<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 Announcement of the results<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>15th December<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 Report of the achieved results so far (draft of the scientific manuscript)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We look forward to your innovative proposals and the impactful research that will emerge from this initiative!&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Below you will find detailed information and guidelines for submitting your proposal. Please submit your completed proposal to <\/span><b>marekjelinek@ftz.czu.cz<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by <\/span><b>September 30, 2024<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Project Title<\/b><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your project title should be a concise text item, containing a maximum of 256 characters. The title may include letters, numbers, and special characters, starting with a capital letter and not ending with a period (.). Avoid using abbreviations. The title should clearly reflect the expected outcome of the project.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Name and Surname of the Main Project Coordinator<\/b><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please provide the full name of the main project coordinator responsible for overseeing the research project.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Key Words<\/b><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Indicate up to six key words that best describe the focus of your project, separating each with a semicolon (;). Key words can consist of multiple words but should not include abbreviations.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Summary of the Project Proposal (Annotation)<\/b><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Provide a summary of your project in no more than 250 words. This summary should encapsulate the essence and objectives of your project and may include letters, numbers, and special characters.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Subject Areas of the Project<\/b><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Identify the subject areas addressed by your project, ensuring that they accurately reflect its nature. You must indicate at least one of the following subject areas:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Waste of war<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Deforestation as a consequence of war<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Disturbance of ecosystems<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Air and water pollution<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Consequences of lost access to water sources (e.g., Black Sea)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Polluted soils \u2013 potential effects<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Biodiversity losses<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Migration and its effects on the agrarian sector<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Objectives of the Project<\/b><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Describe the objectives of your project in a maximum of 200 words. Clearly outline the goals and expected outcomes.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Multidisciplinary Research Team<\/b><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Detail the composition of your multidisciplinary research team, including:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each member&#8217;s position in the team (e.g., Main Coordinator, Co-Researcher).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Their affiliation to one of the universities within the AgriSciences Platform (Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University, Sumy National Agrarian University, Sumy State University, Mykolaiv National Agrarian University, Dnipro State Agrarian-Economic University, and Czech University of Life Sciences Prague).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Their status (e.g., PhD student, Staff, Master\u2019s degree student, Bachelor\u2019s degree student).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The working unit or department where each person studies or works.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This section should not exceed 500 words. Note that this call is intended for newly created multidisciplinary research groups or those previously established within the AgriSci-UA project, involving members from at least two universities of the platform.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Budget<\/b><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Complete the budget table with all amounts in EUR. The maximum grant amount available is 950 EUR.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Rationale (Explanation) of Project Budget<\/b><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Provide a detailed explanation of the budget, including specific amounts required for individual working units. Break down remuneration and scholarships by the names of participating researchers according to their respective working units.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Overview of the State-of-the-Art<\/b><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Describe the current situation in your field with a literature review. This section should be a maximum of 1,000 words.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Methods Used<\/b><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Clearly describe the methods you will use for data collection, data analysis, and experiments. The description should not exceed 1,000 words.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Time Schedule of the Project (Timetable)<\/b><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Provide a clear, trackable timetable for the project. The maximum project duration is 12 months.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Project Benefits (Contribution) and Planned Outcomes<\/b><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Describe the contributions and planned outcomes of the project.
