We are excited to announce a call for grant proposals from multidisciplinary research teams. This opportunity is designed to support collaborative research projects that address critical environmental and societal challenges. We invite applications for grants supporting newly established or existing multidisciplinary research teams within the AgriSciences Platform (AgriSci-UA project). Eligible teams must include members from at least two partner universities (e.g., CZU, SSU, SNAU, DSAEU, BTNAU, MNAU).
The grant supports collaborative research focused on war-related environmental impacts:
- Waste of war
- Deforestation as a consequence of war
- Disturbance of ecosystems
- Air and water pollution
- Consequences of lost access to water sources (e.g., Black Sea)
- Polluted soils – potential effects
- Biodiversity losses
- Migration and its effects on the agrarian sector
The maximum grant amount is 950 EUR per team.
Key deadlines:
- 31 August 2025 – Submission deadline for the 1st round
- 15 September 2025 – Announcement of selected projects
- 15 December 2025 – Submission of scientific paper draft
